We are now enabling children from homes in Katsina State, Nigeria to learn how to read and write at home, with visits by Home Support Teachers across the state. The children follow along with Jolly Phonics TV and Radio lessons created by our Nigeria teams, with local language translations and colourful materials. Feedback from parents and children has been very positive and we are collecting impact data using our Jolly Monitor App, to inform expansion of this project elsewhere.
